what is little nomads?
Little Nomads is an outdoor early childhood education program for 3-5 year olds in Vancouver, BC. At Little Nomads, we value outdoor exploration, nature play, and experiential learning. We pride ourselves in putting our children and families first, building strong relationships and community links, and responding to the needs and interests of our young learners. The natural environment becomes our classroom and our teacher as we explore the city’s beaches, forests and parks together.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
The sessions were carefully planned and made creative and thoughtful use of the environment as a teacher. Hannah and Jay went above and beyond to ensure the children had a great day exploring and balanced child-led play with safety. Our son loved attending and always came home excited to tell us about his adventures. We miss them all and can’t recommend them highly enough!
I can’t say enough positive things about Little Nomads! Hannah and Jay are attentive, flexible, sensitive to individual needs, and nurturing. I would highly recommend it to any parent that wants an enriching preschool experience for their children.
Both of my children have thrived, developing their creativity and curiosity through a perfect blend of free-play, structured learning activities and creativity driven units.
Hannah passionately ensured that each and every child would be regarded as an individual with different passions and challenges and would support them in every aspect.
Hannah is approachable, totally dedicated to her job and quite clearly loved working with children.Hannah was there to support us as a family and to make sure Isabelle was happy and content.
Her interests in art, nature and outdoor play were nurtured. They offered a curriculum that reflected and stretched each child as an individual.
Hannah shows tremendous positive energy and commitment to the school community.
Hannah has a lovely way with children that nurtures their curiosity about the world and encourages them to ask “why?”.Children follow their own interests and are guided carefully to gain a greater understanding of how the world works.
Her kind and warm personality makes her as popular with the adults as it does with the children!
